Description

ALBA DOMÈNECH

Visual artist and illustrator born in Barcelona in 1983, her work explores the human experience through surrealist female figures and a deeply personal symbolic language. Butterflies, present in many of her pieces, evoke fragility, transformation, and strength: subtly illuminated against dark backgrounds, they guide the viewer into unconscious realms. Her work, influenced by Japanese art and fantastic illustration, addresses themes such as personal transformation, femininity, and resilience in the face of social pressures. In P(ART), Alba brings this poetic and symbolic universe to her intervention on the Skul(p), imbuing the shared piece with an intimate sensitivity and a visual strength that dialogues with the other voices of the project.
