Lienzo grew up in a workshop where the day began by clearing the table and taking a deep breath. There he learned that matte white isn’t emptiness but a starting point: the place that holds the first idea, the first stroke, the margin that allows mistakes and trying again.
Today Lienzo is the basic, untreated version: no paint, no adornments, just the material as it is. It doesn’t compete; it makes room. It lets light and shadow do their work and lets each person project their own. It’s an invitation to begin without hurry and to stay with what’s essential.
