After a stay in India, she began working with local clays and researching the relationship between earth, food, and utensils, inspired by *kaiseki* cuisine and Rosanjin. She built her own wood-fired kiln in Japan and has since explored the transformation of clay and fire as an artistic language.
Her work seeks to make ceramics transcend functionality to become an aesthetic experience, advocating for the uniqueness of handmade work in contrast to the digital. She continues to create using various techniques, positioning ceramics in a constant dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity.
