Digital still life, transfer on ceramics

A digital still life inspired by the classical vanitas tradition, where objects like flowers and skulls reflect the passage of time. The geometric, faceted skull introduces a contemporary disruption, creating a bridge between past and present. The composition meditates on cyclicality—endings that seed beginnings.

ALISA SIBIRSKAYA

Alisa Sibirskaya is a visual artist of Siberian origin, trained in photography at the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya. Her work is built from a scenic and symbolic approach, where light and composition play a central role in evoking the aesthetics of Baroque painting, particularly within the *vanitas* genre.

Also trained in music and performing arts, she integrates these disciplines into her photographic practice, using psychological theater and automatic writing as the foundation of her creative method. Her visual language combines introspection with subtle social critique, aligning with the philosophy of P(ART): emotional, symbolic, and reflective art that fosters an authentic connection with the viewer.
