JOANA SANTAMANS
Born in 1977 in Barcelona (Spain), she is a painter and illustrator who works with mixed media, mural painting, and oil on various surfaces. Trained at EINA (Barcelona), with residencies in London, New York, and San Francisco, she develops a practice deeply connected to nature and the feminine figure. She lives and works between Empordà and Barcelona, creating paintings that flow between the figurative and the abstract. Her manual process and commitment to gesture resonate with the spirit of P(ART), where creation emerges from lived experience and the essential.
